| HOW TO RIG PLASTIC WORMS WITH A TRU TURN HOOK |
The "Texas" Rig -
Probably more Bass are taken on this rig than any other. Choose
the Tru-Turn Blood Red for worms or
the Offset Wide Gap pattern for Lizards. Fish with a lift of
the rod, pause and repeat.
When in doubt set the hook! (Note
how the worm is rigged so the tail curls down to slow the descent.)
You can also "Flip" with the Texas Rig in heavy cover. Just
choose a heavier weight to pound into weed mats. |
 |
Texas Rig - 1. Insert point. 2. Rotate hook and bury eye.
3. Lay hook along worm and mark the hook bend with your thumb.
4. Insert hook. Reminder: Keep the worm straight.

The "Carolina" Rig Effective
in extreme cold / hot conditions when Bass are deep. Rig
similar to the"Texas" style above. The
Mojo® Rig-Saver™ is perfect. (Egg lead is okay but
they tend to get stuck.) The Target Bead protects the knot.
Choose the
#63ZS. Tru-Turn Blood Red® Worm Hook. (The cam-action increases
hook ups.)
Cast way out, use the lift and retrieve method and
fish s-l-o-w. |
